PRODUCTION — KAPI C

PRODUCTION SUPPORT IN TURKEY

A local production partner for international producers and agencies: commercials, film and series projects — executed end to end by our own crew.

SCOPE

Your shoot in Turkey, run by a crew that lives here.

We act as the local production partner: budgeting, scheduling, permits, customs, locations and on-ground execution. The crew that writes the plan is the crew that runs the shoot — nothing is subcontracted away on the morning of the day.

Production credits include Diriliş Ertuğrul, Mehmed Bir Cihan Fatihi and Adanış Kutsal Kavga; an in-house action academy and studio stand behind every action sequence.

FAQ

Asked often.

01 Do you handle permits and customs?

Yes. Location permits, film commission paperwork and equipment customs clearance are part of the service; the legal side stays with us.

02 Can you deliver an action crew?

Yes. Choreography, stunt coordination and trained performers are our own academy’s output — this is the same team we use on our own productions.

03 How does quoting work?

Send the shooting schedule, city list and crew size; a written quote with calendar comes back. English contact throughout.

04 Do you work outside Istanbul?

Yes. Shoots are planned across Turkey; logistics and travel are budgeted in the quote.

KEY TERMS

Terms people ask about.

What is line production?

Line production is the local management of a shoot carried out away from the production company’s home country. In Turkey it covers the production office, crew and permits, customs, transport, accommodation and local liaison, so that a visiting unit can concentrate on filming.

What does a line producer do?

A line producer turns a shooting plan into something that actually happens on the ground: budgets local spend, hires local crew, secures permissions, resolves problems and keeps the shoot to schedule.

What is an ATA carnet?

An ATA carnet is an international customs document that lets professional equipment travel between countries without being re-exported each time. It avoids duty on gear that will leave again, which is why almost every inbound shoot to Turkey needs one.

What is temporary import?

Temporary import lets equipment, vehicles or goods enter a country for a defined period without normal import duties, provided they are re-exported afterwards. Film productions use it for camera, lighting and grip equipment brought in for a shoot.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

01Do you work with production companies outside Turkey?

Yes. Line production in Turkey is what we do for international producers and agencies, and we work in English throughout. Most clients start with a scout, a budget and a shoot date, and we quote against those three.

02Can you handle customs clearance for our equipment?

Yes. We prepare the customs declaration, handle temporary import and the ATA carnet, and clear camera, lighting and grip equipment before it is needed on set. Doing this early is the difference between a morning call and a lost day.

03Do you arrange work permits and visas for foreign crew?

Yes. We build the crew list, apply for the work permits required for foreign nationals and handle the entry paperwork. Allow time for this — it is the item most likely to affect a schedule if it is left late.

04Which cities do you cover?

Istanbul and the surrounding area is our base, and we work across Turkey. Anatolian shoots and locations outside the city are normal work rather than an exception, and we travel with the unit.

05Do you handle accommodation and transport?

Yes. Vehicles, drivers, accommodation and local crew sourcing are part of the package. If a unit already has its own transport we will work around it rather than duplicate it.

06Can we get a budget before our dates are final?

Yes, and we prefer it that way. A quote against a defined scope and shoot days is more useful than a number, and we will tell you early if a plan is not workable in Turkey rather than after the crew has been mobilised.

07Do you provide location scouting and fixing?

We do. Scouting, permits and liaison with local authorities and location owners are part of the service. Permits are the part that needs lead time, so they are planned from the start rather than raised on the day.

08Can you support a second unit or split locations?

Yes. A second unit running parallel to the main shoot is often what makes a fixed delivery date achievable, and we set up the schedule and crew separately from the main unit.
